Golf course

Each Tee on a golf course is rated according to its degree of difficulty.
Golf ratings consist of a ‘Course rating’, a ‘Slope rating’ and its ‘Par-value’. These ratings are used to calculate the playing handicap (pHcp) on the basis of the exact Hcp of a certain player.For the purpose of this App it is in most cases sufficient to have two Tee-alternatives, e.g. one for male, and one for female, often yellow or red, depending on the country and the course.All ratings are normally available on the homepage of the golf club or from the Albrecht App (http://www.1golf.eu)

Participants list

On the basis of the players list, individual list of participants are derived for events or golf rounds.
On the screen ‘Teams’ it ist possible to assign players to specific teams. Players in the same team will be assigned to the same flight group if the ‘Social & Team’ customer is choosen.
Rental Equipment & Comments
It is possible in the participant list to selcect a variaty of rental devices, such as Buggy, Electro-Trolley & Hand-Trolley. These items will be copied into the startlist and summarized in a way that Golfclubs know on the basis of the startlist the total number of each device they have to prepare for the golf event or the golf round.

Create startlist & optimize

• Create first, randomly sorted startlist with click on ‘Startlist’ at the buttom.
• Sort flight group members automatically or manually.
  • Main criteria:
    • Social Sort: On the basis of previously established startlists, the subsequent startlist will be optimized in a way that all participants play with all others as far as possible an equal number of times. The first round will be sorted randomly.
    • Social sort & teams: teams as assigned in the participants list of the round will be assigned to the same flight group, not in team assigned players will be assigned according to the above mentioned social sort method.
    • High / low hcp’s first: Participants with the respective hcp’s play in the first flight groups.
    • Best results first / last: If scores of previously played rounds have been recorded, those results can be taken as basis for the sequence of the players for the next round. The result typ has to be selected – net, brut, stroke.

• • mixed Hcps ON
    Per flight group, the Hcps will be mixed, e.g. Participants with high and low Hcps will be distributed on an equal basis into all flight groups.
  • Ladies & men mixed ON
    Ladies & men will be distributed on an equal basis into all flight groups.

Distribute startlist

• Print startlist: startlists can be printed from iPhone directly with Air Printer using WLAN and distributed to participants on paper.
• Mail to participants: Generates mail to all participants including a pdf form with the startlist.Careful: This function only works if all mail addresses are correct and their server can be identified.
• Mail without receipient: Creates mail without any reipients. Recipients may be choosen from iPhone Contacts.

List of event startlists

In the list event startlists all established and saved startlists of a specific event are listed for selection. In the mode ‘Startlist’ the startlist will be shown. In the mode ‘Results’ the screen ‘Record results – open’ or ‘Ranking complete’ will be shown.

In the first case, Results of the round can be registered. Following Categories are available:

• Brut (Brut-Points, most points first)
• Net (stableford net points, most points first)
• Stroke (number of strokes, less strokes first)

In the View ‘Event details’ the function ‘Select rounds for Event Ranking’ is available. After selcetion of minimal one round it the ‘Overall ranking’ can be selected and all categories of overall rankings are available to be selected.
