A Golf-Event consists of one or more rounds of Golf. E.g. one Golf-Week with 5 rounds or weekly gatherings of Golf Players over the whole season.
Each Tee on a golf course is rated according to its degree of difficulty.
Golf ratings consist of a ‘Course rating’, a ‘Slope rating’ and its ‘Par-value’. These ratings are used to calculate the playing handicap (pHcp) on the basis of the exact Hcp of a certain player.For the purpose of this App it is in most cases sufficient to have two Tee-alternatives, e.g. one for male, and one for female, often yellow or red, depending on the country and the course.All ratings are normally available on the homepage of the golf club or from the Albrecht App (http://www.1golf.eu)
All players are registered in the players list. Besides ‘surname, firstname, gender & email, actual exact hcps have to be recorded.
On the basis of the players list, individual list of participants are derived for events or golf rounds.
On the screen ‘Teams’ it ist possible to assign players to specific teams. Players in the same team will be assigned to the same flight group if the ‘Social & Team’ customer is choosen.
Rental Equipment & Comments
It is possible in the participant list to selcect a variaty of rental devices, such as Buggy, Electro-Trolley & Hand-Trolley. These items will be copied into the startlist and summarized in a way that Golfclubs know on the basis of the startlist the total number of each device they have to prepare for the golf event or the golf round.
In the first step, select an event or create one. All planned rounds, start- and result lists will be saved per Event. The number of round per event ist not limited.
Subsequently the following parameters have to be entered or selected:
Based on saved round template, startlist can be created at any later point in time.

In the list event startlists all established and saved startlists of a specific event are listed for selection. In the mode ‘Startlist’ the startlist will be shown. In the mode ‘Results’ the screen ‘Record results – open’ or ‘Ranking complete’ will be shown.
In the first case, Results of the round can be registered. Following Categories are available:
In the View ‘Event details’ the function ‘Select rounds for Event Ranking’ is available. After selcetion of minimal one round it the ‘Overall ranking’ can be selected and all categories of overall rankings are available to be selected.

With this functions test data can be added. Test data can be deleted on an individual basis – only use this function if needed.
Number of trials
This setting fixes the number of trials in the algorithm that searches the best social sort.
The more steps, the longer it takes to complete the search. At the same time the chances are increased to find a really good solution. Usually settings between 500 – 2500 lead to good or very good solutions. This function optimizes the combinations of the flight groups in a way that over an event all participants play approx an equal number of times with each other.
Team hcp factors
Based on these parameters a team handicap is calculated for team competitions, such as Florida- or Texas Scramble.
Standard golf course
This golf course will be added automatically if a new player is registered.
